Data Snapshot, Retention and Disposal Policy

This policy defines how Corefinity manages server wide snapshots for Production environments. If you wish to have snapshots for any UAT environment, please contact our support team.

This document only refers to the backup and retention of snapshots for the customer servers, personal customer data is dealt with in the scope of our GDPR policy and statement.

Snapshots are taken daily and are held for a maximum of 30 days, unless explicitly arranged otherwise.

Corefinity will put this default configuration in place for all our customers ensuring their data is backed up efficiently.

At the customer's request we can take and hold snapshots for any period of time if required to do so.

Once a client leaves Corefinity, we will hold their data for 1 month, unless previously discussed. Once data is permanently removed from our systems it is unrecoverable.

Automated checks are in place to deal with the removal of data once a customer hands in their 30 days’ notice.
